Inspired by classic American drive-thrus, movie theatres, and diners, the 1m Cinema Light Box (Double Line) delivers vintage marquee style with greater messaging capacity.

The satin black aluminium frame holds two rows of 2-inch clear plastic letter cards, giving you approximately 48 characters to work with — enough for a tagline, a daily special, or a full welcome message across two lines.

Each unit ships with a full letter set: A–Z in black (with duplicates), 0–9 in red (with duplicates), and a range of symbols. The cards simply slot into the clear horizontal rails and can be rearranged whenever you choose.

Designed by Goodwin & Goodwin and manufactured in our London workshop, the light box is fitted with low-voltage LEDs and comes with a 2m black cable and UK plug, backed by a 1-year warranty.

Care Instructions
  • Wipe the aluminium frame with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive pads or chemical solvents that may scratch or dull the satin finish.
  • Clean plastic letter cards with a dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning fluids on the cards as this may cause warping or clouding.
  • Store unused letter cards in the original packaging or a dry, flat container to prevent loss or bending.
  • Keep the cable and plug away from water and inspect periodically for signs of wear.
  • Do not install in locations exposed to direct rain or standing moisture — the unit is designed for indoor use or covered external areas.

How does this differ from the single-line cinema light box?

This model uses smaller 2-inch letters arranged across two rows, giving you approximately 48 characters versus 14 for the single-line version. The overall box dimensions are similar, but the double-line layout allows significantly more text.
