The Black Metal Light Box is our best-selling illuminated sign — a reliable, well-made display that works across virtually every business type and setting. The frame is powder-coated black steel, the illumination comes from low-voltage LEDs rated up to 40,000 hours, and the graphic panel is full-colour digitally printed and matt laminated, produced in-house on wide-format equipment.

Available in seven standard sizes from A4 through to A0, plus a 500 × 500mm square option and a portrait A3 Long format, each in landscape or portrait orientation. Panels can be supplied blank for customers who want to install their own graphics, or printed with your design. Because the panel is changeable, updating the display later is straightforward — a new printed panel is all that is needed.

Every unit is made to order in our London workshop. We send a PDF proof for approval before any printing begins, so there are no surprises. Custom sizes are available on request.

Care Instructions

Wipe the powder-coated metal frame with a soft damp cloth. Dry thoroughly after cleaning to prevent water marks.
Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the frame, which can damage the powder coat finish.
Clean the illuminated face with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not apply pressure that could damage the vinyl graphic.
Solvent-based cleaners, alcohol, and acetone will damage both the frame finish and the vinyl panel — avoid these entirely.

Yes. The Black Metal Light Box is rated for both internal and external use. Ensure the cable entry point is adequately sealed for exposed outdoor installations.

What artwork formats do you accept?

PDF, TIFF, JPEG, EPS, and AI files at 300 dpi minimum. PDF is generally preferred for the cleanest print output. Vector artwork works best for logos and text.
