    Illuminated or Non-Illuminated Black Menu Case

    A matte black menu case with a lockable door and two keys, available with or without LED backlighting.

    The illuminated version uses low-voltage LEDs rated to approximately 40,000 hours and is fitted with an electrical connector block at the rear, ready for connection by a qualified electrician.

    A bold, refined exterior display for restaurants, cafés, bars and hotels that want their menu or entrance signage to make a clear statement.

    Care Instructions
    • Wipe the frame and door regularly with a soft damp cloth to remove dust, grime, and fingerprints. Dry thoroughly, particularly if the unit is installed outdoors.
    • Avoid abrasive cleaners, wire wool, or scouring pads, which will scratch and damage the powder-coat finish.
    • Do not use bleach, solvent-based products, or acidic cleaning agents on the frame.
    • Clean the display panel or printed graphic with a lightly damp cloth only — do not scrub.
    • Periodically check the lock mechanism and apply a small amount of light oil if it becomes stiff or resistant.
    • For illuminated units, contact us if the LED panel requires replacement — do not attempt to dismantle the electrical components yourself.

    What is the difference between the illuminated and non-illuminated versions?
    The illuminated version has a built-in low-voltage LED panel that backlights your graphic evenly. It connects to a mains supply via a connector block at the rear and must be wired by a qualified electrician. The non-illuminated version needs no electrical connection and is a straightforward, cost-effective option where mains power is not required.

    Is the black finish suitable for outdoor use?

    Yes. The black powder-coat finish is durable in external conditions and handles UV exposure, rain, and general weathering well. The lockable door also protects your printed graphic from the elements.

    Does the unit come with keys?

    Yes. Two keys are supplied with every unit.

    Do I need an electrician to install the illuminated version?

    Yes. The illuminated unit is fitted with a rear connector block and should be wired to a mains supply by a qualified electrician. The non-illuminated version requires no electrical work.

    Can I upload my own artwork?

    Yes. Upload your file at checkout, or email it to sales@goodwinandgoodwin.com after ordering. We accept PDF, TIFF, JPEG, EPS, and AI at 300 dpi or above. PDF is preferred.

    Are custom sizes available?
