The Branded Chalk Board Menu solves a problem that standard chalkboards can't: keeping your brand visible while still giving staff the flexibility to update menu items in chalk whenever needed. Vinyl graphics — your logo, brand colours, category headers, and decorative elements — are applied permanently to a thick board substrate, with designated chalk-write areas left clear for daily menu content. The result looks polished and on-brand at all times, not like something scrawled on a plain black board.

Inspired by vintage American chicken-feed chalkboards, the design is built entirely around your brand. Goodwin & Goodwin's design team will work with your logo, Pantone colours, and preferred font to produce a layout that reflects your business — whether you run a street food stall, café, bar, pub, or restaurant.

The standard size shown is 148cm × 98cm, but custom sizes, additional menu sections, and alternative formats are all available on request.

Care Instructions
  • Use only chalk or chalk markers on the designated writeable areas. Do not write on the vinyl-printed sections
  • To erase chalk, wipe the writeable area with a damp cloth or a specialist chalkboard eraser. Dry thoroughly after cleaning
  • Clean the vinyl-printed areas with a soft damp cloth only. Avoid abrasive cloths, solvents, or alcohol-based cleaners, which can lift or damage the vinyl
  • For external use, bring the board inside overnight in wet weather where possible to extend the lifespan of both the vinyl and the board substrate
  • Do not lean heavy objects against the face of the board or place it in direct sustained sunlight for long periods, as this can cause the vinyl to lift at the edges over time.

Can you design the board around my brand?

Yes. The Branded Chalk Board Menu is designed entirely around your business. Share your logo, brand colours (Pantone or RAL references work well), and any font preferences, and our team will produce a layout for your approval before production begins.

Can I get a custom size?

Yes. The standard size is 148cm × 98cm, but we can produce boards in virtually any size. Contact sales@goodwinandgoodwin.com with your requirements for a custom quote.

Can I add more menu sections?

Yes. The layout can be configured with as many writeable sections as your menu requires — starters, mains, specials, drinks, and so on. Let us know your requirements when enquiring.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. The Branded Chalk Board Menu is suitable for both internal and external use. We recommend bringing it inside overnight in wet weather to preserve the board and vinyl finish.

What chalk should I use?

Standard chalk or liquid chalk markers both work well on the writeable sections. Liquid chalk markers give a neater finish and are easier to read from a distance, but require a damp cloth or specialist eraser to remove cleanly.
