The vintage style cinema light box is our largest and most theatrical marquee sign — a full-scale vintage cinema display inspired by classic American drive-thrus, movie theatres, and diners. The satin black light box measures 186cm × 153cm and is paired with an animated marquee arrow that cycles through a chasing light sequence, making it one of the most eye-catching props available for events, weddings, brand launches, and parties.

The sign comes with a complete set of 6-inch changeable letters on clear plastic — A–Z (with duplicates), 0–9 (with duplicates), and a full set of symbols including '/', '%', '.', '*', '$', '!', '-'. Letters simply slot into the horizontal channels on the front of the light box, allowing any combination of words or messages to be set quickly on the day. The whole unit sits on castors so it can be wheeled into position and repositioned easily.

This product is available for purchase and is popular with events hire companies building out their prop inventory. The sign can also be used outdoors.

Care Instructions

Wipe the satin black casing with a soft damp cloth. Dry thoroughly after cleaning — avoid leaving moisture on the surface
Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents on the casing or the clear plastic letter panels, as these can cause scratching or clouding
Store letter and symbol panels flat in the provided storage when not in use to prevent warping or cracking
Check castor wheels and locking mechanisms before each event to ensure the sign moves and locks securely
For outdoor use, avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain directly on the cable entry or plug. Ensure the unit is on a stable, level surface

Can I collect the sign from your workshop?

Yes. Our workshop is in Wood Green, N22, North London. Due to the size of this sign, a van is recommended for collection. Contact us to arrange a collection time.

Can you deliver outside London?

Yes. Delivery outside London and the M25 is available — please call or email for a delivery quote before ordering.

Can I use this sign outdoors?
