These E14 incandescent replacement bulbs are the standard fitting for all Goodwin & Goodwin fairground-style bulb signs, including light-up letters, star lights, arrow signs, and marquee displays. At 10W and 240V with an E14 (SES) screw cap, they deliver the classic warm amber glow that defines the vintage fairground aesthetic. Keep a supply of spares to hand so any failed bulb can be swapped quickly and your sign is never dark for long.

Available individually or in boxes of 10 or 20. For a more energy-efficient option with a very similar warm glow, our E14 warm white LED bulbs are also available separately.

Care Instructions
  • Allow the bulb to cool fully before handling — incandescent bulbs run hot during operation
  • Hold by the base when fitting or removing. Avoid touching the glass with bare fingers, as skin oils can create hot spots and reduce bulb lifespan
  • Always switch off and unplug the sign before replacing a bulb
  • Do not use in fittings rated below 10W or in enclosed fixtures not designed for incandescent bulbs
  • Dispose of old bulbs responsibly — check your local council guidelines for incandescent bulb disposal.
FAQs

Are these the right bulbs for my Goodwin & Goodwin sign?

If your sign was originally supplied with incandescent bulbs (not LEDs), yes. If you're unsure, check the fitting cap size on the existing bulb — it should read E14 — or contact us at sales@goodwinandgoodwin.com and we'll confirm the correct replacement.

What's the difference between these and the E14 LED bulbs?

These are traditional 10W incandescent bulbs producing the original warm amber fairground glow. The E14 LED version runs at 1.3W, lasts significantly longer, and produces a very similar warm white colour. Both use the same E14 fitting and are interchangeable.

Can I buy in larger quantities?

Boxes of 10 or 20 are available at a lower per-unit cost. For larger trade quantities, contact us at sales@goodwinandgoodwin.com for a quote.
