    The Changeable Panel A Board is a heavy-duty pavement sign handcrafted in our London workshop from solid timber with solid brass hardware. Printed panels slide in from the top of the frame for a clean, flush finish — updating the display is a matter of swapping one panel for another, with no tools required. It is one of the most popular A boards in our range: the quality of the materials and construction means it holds its appearance on a busy high street far better than lighter alternatives.

    The frame is painted to your chosen colour — standard options include black, white, dark grey, and red. For a custom match, the full RAL colour range is available at an additional charge. Panels are printed full colour on dibond composite board, double-sided, so your message is visible from both directions on the pavement.

    The board can be ordered without panels if you have your own graphics arranged, or supplied complete with panels printed to your design. A custom design service is available — contact us with a brief and we will provide a quote.

    Care Instructions
    • Wipe the painted timber frame with a soft damp cloth. Dry thoroughly after cleaning to protect the painted finish.
    • Do not use solvent-based cleaners or abrasive scourers on the frame, which can strip or dull the paint.
    • For printed dibond panels, clean with a soft damp cloth only. Avoid anything that could scratch or peel the laminated surface.
    • Bring the A board inside overnight in wet or stormy conditions where possible to protect both the frame and the panel graphics.
    • Inspect the brass hardware periodically and tighten any fixings that may have worked loose with regular use.

    How do I change the panels?

    Panels slide in from the top of the frame. No tools are required — simply lift the existing panel out and slide the new one in.

    Can I order without panels and add them later?

    Yes. The board can be ordered without panels, and replacement or additional panels can be ordered separately at any time.

    Can I get a custom RAL colour?

    Yes. The full RAL colour range is available for the frame at an additional £50. Contact sales@goodwinandgoodwin.com with your preferred RAL code or description.

    Is this suitable for outdoor use?

    Yes. The solid timber frame and brass hardware are built for outdoor use. The painted finish provides good weather resistance, and the slide-in panels are protected within the frame.

    Can I upload my own design for the panels?

    Yes. Upload your artwork at checkout or email it to sales@goodwinandgoodwin.com after placing your order. A custom design service is also available — contact us for a quote.
