Inspired by classic American drive-thrus, movie theatres, and diners, the Cinema Light Box brings vintage marquee style to your home, business, or venue. The satin black aluminium frame is fitted with clear horizontal rails that hold 6-inch clear plastic letter cards, letting you spell out any message you choose — then change it whenever you like.

Each unit comes with a full set of letter cards: A–Z in black (with duplicates), 0–9 in red (with duplicates), and a range of symbols. The single-row light box fits approximately 14 characters and is LED illuminated for a warm, classic glow.

An optional remote-control dimmer is available and must be specified at the time of ordering.

Designed by Goodwin & Goodwin and manufactured in our London workshop, this light box comes with a 2m black cable and UK plug.

Care Instructions

Wipe the aluminium frame with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive pads or chemical solvents that may scratch or dull the satin finish.
Clean plastic letter cards with a dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning fluids on the cards as this may cause warping or clouding.
Store unused letter cards in the original packaging or a dry, flat container to prevent loss or bending.
Keep the cable and plug away from water and inspect periodically for signs of wear.
Do not install in locations exposed to direct rain or standing moisture — the unit is designed for indoor use or covered external areas.

Can I add extra or replacement letter cards?

Yes. Contact us at sales@goodwinandgoodwin.com and we can advise on available replacement card packs for this light box.

Can I add the dimmer after purchase?

No — the remote control dimmer must be fitted at the time of manufacture. Please select the dimmer option when ordering if you'd like this feature.

Is this available in other sizes?

Can I use this outdoors?

The unit is best suited to indoor use or sheltered outdoor locations. For fully exposed outdoor installations, contact us to discuss weatherproofing options.
