The Walnut Light Box is the most luxurious light box in our range. Where our other light boxes use powder-coated metal or acrylic frames, this one is built with a real walnut veneer surround — the warmth of the grain, the depth of the finish, and the way it sits in a room are simply different from anything a painted metal frame can offer. It works particularly well in premium retail, hotel lobbies, bars, restaurants, and any setting where the sign itself needs to feel like part of the interior design rather than an addition to it.

Your artwork is printed full colour in-house on the latest wide-format digital printing equipment and matt laminated. The low-voltage LEDs run economically and are rated for up to 40,000 hours. Available in five sizes from A4 to A1, plus a 500 × 500mm square option, in landscape or portrait orientation.

This is an indoor product, custom made to order.

Care Instructions

Dust the walnut frame with a soft dry cloth. For a deeper clean, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately — do not allow moisture to sit on the wood surface.
Avoid solvent-based cleaners, alcohol, or silicone-based polishes on the walnut veneer, which can damage the finish.
A small amount of furniture wax or oil can be applied occasionally to maintain the richness of the walnut finish — test on an inconspicuous area first.
Do not place the light box in direct sunlight for extended periods, which can fade and dry out the wood veneer over time.
This product is for indoor use only — do not expose it to moisture or humidity.

FAQs

Is this suitable for outdoor use?
No. The Walnut Light Box is designed for indoor use only. The walnut veneer frame is not rated for outdoor conditions.

Can I upload my own design?

Yes. Upload your artwork at checkout or email it to sales@goodwinandgoodwin.com after ordering. Accepted formats are PDF, TIFF, JPEG, EPS, and AI at 300 dpi minimum.

Can the graphic be changed after purchase?

Yes. The printed vinyl face can be replaced. Contact sales@goodwinandgoodwin.com to order a replacement panel.

Can I get a custom size?

Yes. Custom sizes are available on request. Contact sales@goodwinandgoodwin.com or call 0208 829 0599 for a quote.

Why is the build time longer than other light boxes?

The walnut frame requires more time to produce than our powder-coated metal options. Please allow 2–3 weeks from order confirmation to dispatch.

Is a proof provided before printing?

Yes. We email a PDF proof for your approval before production begins.
