Eco Signs
Eco signs take a fundamentally different approach to the question of what a sign can be made from. Where most signage starts with metal, acrylic, or timber, Goodwin & Goodwin's eco sign range starts with living and natural materials — preserved moss, reclaimed wood, and biodegradable substrates — and builds from there. The result is a category of sign that looks and feels genuinely unlike anything else we make.
Our moss letter signs are among the most distinctive pieces in the entire range. Individual characters and words are hand-filled with preserved flat moss and bun moss, creating a lush, textural surface that brings the outside in — no watering, no maintenance, no fading. Moss signs work as wall-mounted decorative statements in homes, studios, restaurants, and retail spaces where the brief calls for something organic and contemporary. Each one is made to order, in any wording, in our London workshop.
Our Eco Bug House Letters take a different but equally considered approach. Each letter doubles as a habitat for insects and garden wildlife — the structure of the letter itself is designed to provide shelter, making these a genuinely functional piece of eco-friendly signage for outdoor gardens, schools, nature centres, and any business that wants its branding to do something useful in the world. They're designed for outdoor use and made from sustainably sourced materials.
Both ranges are well-suited to businesses with an environmental or sustainability story to tell, as well as to homeowners, schools, and organisations looking for signage that reflects a commitment to the natural world. They're also simply beautiful objects — which is reason enough to choose them.
